Prevention of Sexual Harassment
In compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013
Policy Statement
Abhyaas The Global School provides a safe working environment for all employees, irrespective of gender. Sexual harassment in any form — verbal, physical, or gestural — is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action including termination of employment.
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
The school has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) as mandated by the Act. The ICC comprises a presiding officer (senior female employee), two members from staff, and an external member from an NGO or legal background.
Filing a Complaint
Any aggrieved employee may file a written complaint with the ICC within 3 months of the incident. The committee will conduct an inquiry and submit a report within 60 days. Complaints may also be submitted confidentially to the school principal.
Awareness & Training
The school conducts annual POSH awareness workshops for all staff. New employees are briefed on this policy during orientation.
